Arts & Entertainment

There are so many events in Winnipeg,
regardless of the season.
Whether you prefer traditional arts or more casual entertainment,
we invite you to discover Winnipeg's events and attractions
with people who know the ropes
and who share your interests.

We meet once a month in the homes of our volunteer hosts-
Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the winter
and Wednesday evenings at 7:30 in summer
(A&E summer starts in May).
You must be in attendance to find out what's going on -
that's when you'll decide which events you'd like to go to.

Meetings last about 2 hours and are highly social in nature.
Things to Bring: Your Adventures membership Card (can't get in without it!)
Your day timer (to avoid scheduling conflicts)
Your cheque book (to pay for events)
Any coupons you are willing to share
$3 to cover the cost of the fabulous refreshments

Please call the host at least 3 days prior to the meeting
to get the address and directions.

whose role is to help with the dances and other functions.
We greet people at the door, take their tickets,
and provide them with name tags.
We also do a whole lot more.
We help set things up, put things away and generally look after things.

Another of our responsibilities
is to ensure people have a good time,
and that means we help new members get seated.

We are here to help you enjoy the event.
If you have a question about Adventures

COMMENTS FROM REBUILDING
WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP ENDS WEEKEND

To Ray Antymis:

I must thank you for all the opportunities Rebuilding has given me as a participant and a facilitator. Without such worthwhile endeavors on your part there would be a lot more hurting people out there. It's been a pleasure to know you. Barb

Ray: Thank you so much for this weekend and for sharing Rebuilding with me. Sharing with others is giving me strength and helps to keep me on the correct path when things get tough and I need a helping hand. Your warmth and caring must be a great inspiration to all who know you and will be a great inspiration to those in the future. I wish you all the best on your own life journey! LeeAnne

When the student is ready the teacher will appear. Many people in our fair city are achieving great strides in personal growth thanks to your magnificent efforts. I thank you for reaching out. I thank you for your wisdom. Darrell

Ray: You are very effective as a facilitator. I felt you were gentle and used humor to bridge from one situation back to topic on agenda. Your two day seminar used theory and discussion in a way that I, as an adult, could learn, internalize and apply the issues. Overall, I see your sessions continuing to be well received. Good luck and continued success. Helen

Ray: Thank you for the information this weekend, it was very helpful. Laverne

Ray: Thanks for this weekend seminar. Thanks for your wisdom and putting up with so many people coming through your door each week. It takes a special person to be able to open your home to so many. I also like joking around with you and your sense of humor. I'm very glad to know you and Linda both. You're both very special people. Lorna

Ray: I am in awe of your generosity and self-sacrificing lifestyle to help others heal themselves and be the best they can be. You gave me back a person I barely remember, I cherish her and I will never lose her again. Thank you for helping me find my way! Sandy

Ray: I enjoyed this group as much or more than the others which you've facilitated. I am always amazed at your ability to generate so much positive energy and to do so much to help others. Jim

This was a great weekend! Every time I come I get more insight into myself and my past relationship and what I need and want out of future relationships. Thanks! Once a month, join me for a fun and relaxing evening of discussion
on a variety of real estate topics relevant to singles.
We'll talk about topics of interest to the group -
this is NOT a seminar -
just a terrific opportunity to discuss real estate in a casual atmosphere.

Some topics could be:
You're still in the marital home after separation/divorce
- can you afford to keep it or should you move?
What do you really want?
You're widowed - what are the pros and cons of staying vs. moving?
You really want to stay in your home, but money's tight.
What can you do? Is moving the answer?
You (or your grown kids) are living in an apartment - is there a home in the future?

I am a.Realtor by profession and
I want to help you understand today's real estate market.

Let's have fun - and get informed! Absolutely free -
check the calendar for the dates and the refreshments theme.

You must RSVP. Paula Carlson Elite Real Estate Inc. 694-7444.
